El Atlantico

I keep coming back to the precious memories of the time we spent in Ericeira, in Portugal this summer. The Atlantic is so amazingly picturesque and powerful! Its beauty drags you close and you can't take your eyes off it... But don't be deceived by that as it is also a very strong and tenacious force.

How amazing - I recognise (I think) a yucca flower in the firt one. We saw a number of the dead flowers on the Mediterranean coast last week - they are enormous!

We will be off to the Atlantic in a week's time - I prefer it to the Med, really. It's more elemental, as your photos clearly show!

What can I say dear Olga?
Looking at your beautiful pictures I can only say that I miss you and Arek a lot. There’s only one solution for that…quite easy…please come back again, Ericeira is waiting for you both. I’m sure that the house became much more warmer with your presence instead of being there empty, waiting for sunny days through those windows which aren’t supposed to be closed for such a long time. It depends on you to open them again. I bet it will be a feast for the mice :) I’m coming back and forward to Ericeira now. There’ll be 3 birthdays next week at home (Z, J, F) and we’ll celebrate them there. I won’t be able to manage with so many cakes and so many teenagers. Joana is planning to invite 20 teens and I simply agreed! I’m nuts! All my love for you both. TI
